Releases: Camilla d’Errico – “Canadian Tiger” Print

Last February, Camilla d’Errico was invited to show at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. Her painting, ‘Canadian Tiger’ not only sold at the Olympics, but has just been released as a limited edition print. In addition, it was Camilla’s birthday recently. To help celebrate, her ‘Canadian Tiger’ is going to be used as the cover to her upcoming book dropping early next year. Camilla d’Errico and Caia Koopman recently opened their joint show “Vain Remains” to a very vibrant Silver Lake crowd at Thinkspace Gallery. Both artist showed some strong yet feminine paintings to the pleasure of many that attended. We caught some of their peers such as London Police and Buff Monster (featured) hanging out at the always crowded TS openings. Check out all the opening night pics after the jump.

We’ve been looking forward to this group show for a while now. Gallery 1988 SF has put together a lineup of 5 young ladies who’s special talent is making us “look” literally. Sweet Surrender features: Camilla dâ€™Errico, Krista Huot, Mia, Allison Torneros, and Jennifer Tong. TheseÂ talented girls put together what looks to be a great show. With the DJ spinning and the hipsters of Williamsburg crowded about on Friday night, Ad Hoc Art opened their new show “In Language of Angels”. The six artist show was a nice compliment to the diverse Brooklyn crowd. Seen in the exhibit were: the Manga-esqe Camilla dâ€™Errico, the bold Lisa Alisa, the entrancing Sarah Joncas, the embroidery laced layouts of Simone Maynard, the digitally detailed Mijn Schatje, and the dynamic illustrations of MIA.
