Releases: Eddie Martinez x Case Studyo – “Untitled” Handwoven Rug

Tomorrow at noon on their website, Case Studyo will be releasing a handwoven woolen rug based on one of Eddie Martinez’s paintings from 2015. Produced in an edition 12 + 4 AP, the tapestry is sized at 210 cm x 140 cm and comes with a signed and numbered certificate by the artist. Basel Week Miami ’13: Miami Project

The Miami Project successfully launched its second rendition during Basel week with a well-curated selection of U.S. galleries, including such notable names as Yossi Milo, Joshua Liner, Mark Moore, Richard Heller and David B. Smith. Located in the Wynwood Arts District, the young art fair focused on primary representation of emerging and mid-career artists, which was a nice counterpoint to its much larger neighbor, Art Miami. From small works on paper to large mixed media canvases, Martinez paints with a expressive and energetic style, creating chaotic compositions often featuring cartoonish characters.
