Openings: Adam Neate – “Dimensionalism” @ Elms Lester

After two years, UK-based artist Adam Neate’s (interviewed) has returned to London with a new solo Dimensionalism at Elms Lester (showing until the 18th of October). Playing with perspective, painted shadows, space and sculptural form, the artist is pushing further his exploration of 3D paintings. Openings: Dalek & Delta Exhibition @ Elms Lester

Last night, Elms Lester held a special private viewing as two top notch international artists visited the London gallery to show off their unique and contrasting geometric styles. The Dutch artist known as Delta (Boris Tellegen) showed off a diverse arsenal of new works (including sculptures, paintings and 3-D installation pieces) which depicted the complex layers and symmetry that we’ve come to expect from the graffiti artist. Now, we bring you the detailed view of the real McCoy.  Olympia International Art and Antiques Fair recently held its private collectors preview and AM got some closer pictures of “The Concert Pianist” piece from Neate. The book catalogs 17 exhibitions over the past 12 years with a Who’s-Who of contemporary urban art: Adam Neate, Jose Parla, Phil Frost, Anthony Lister, Futura, James Marshall (Dalek), Boris Tellegen (DELTA), Mark Dean Veca, Ron English,  Space Invader, Stash and WK Interact.
