Preview: Mondo – “Badass Cinema” @ Gallery 1988 (LA)

This Friday (Nov. 11th: 7-10pm), Gallery 1988 is hosting a special one night only event with the boys at Mondo called “Badass Cinema.” The show will showcase their cinema inspired cult classics which they famously reinterpret with their sold out print releases. That’s the impression we walked away with at Mark Brown’s debut solo show at  Gallery 1988 (LA).  The beautiful paintings in “The Lost MacGuffin” are actually linked in a cohesive and fluid storyline. Starting off from one end of the gallery to the other, the audience will see the story unfolding in each painting.
