It’s been a while since we’ve seen the rad hand of Mark Brown (interviewed) at work. The last time was at a solo at Gallery 1988 (LA) last year. This time he’s trekking up to No-Cal to visit Gallery1988 (SF) for another solo exhibition called “Daydreams”. The show opens this Friday, June 18th at 7pm. Matt Dangler (interviewed) recently sent us a couple preview images from his upcoming solo show “Searching for Satori” opening Friday, May 29th at Gallery 1988’s San Francisco location. Daniel Danger and Dan McCarthy will be debuting their latest show, “The Watcher in the Woods,” tonight at Gallery 1988SF. Fresh off the success of their Los Angeles group show “Idiot Box,” G1988 is certainly coming correct, bringing together these two amazing talents for the first time. Known primarily for their fine-art prints and collectible rock concert posters, the Daniels will both be on hand for the opening. We’ve been looking forward to this group show for a while now. Gallery 1988 SF has put together a lineup of 5 young ladies who’s special talent is making us “look” literally. Sweet Surrender features: Camilla dâ€™Errico, Krista Huot, Mia, Allison Torneros, and Jennifer Tong. TheseÂ talented girls put together what looks to be a great show.
