Kai & Sunny have just released a new screen-print entitled Ghost Flower as featured as a large format image at their recent London exhibition at StolenSpace, The Flower Show. We’re pretty enthralled by their dynamic imagery and thought that this image was one of the stand-outs of the show. Kai & Sunny’s third solo show at Stolenspace just got an extra week’s extension to its run and now is open until Sunday 3rd July. AM stopped by last week to take a look at The Flower Show and meet up with the design duo. Their trademark large format monochromatic screenprints sit well in the industrial styled surroundings of the gallery with the stark tones of the images accented by a silver glitter within the screen-printing ink. AM stopped by StolenSpace this weekend to check out their latest exhibition, Kai & Sunny’s “Return to the Wild”. The show contains large scale one-off and small edition prints by the duo, with a cohesive colour palette and fantastic nature inspired subject matter and motifs used throughout. Alongside the wall pieces are four floor standing tee-pee lights with silkscreened covers stretched over bamboo frames.
