One of the main reasons AM traveled to London this year was to catch the premiere of the Moniker Art Fair. The opening night was packed from the moment the doors were lifted with what seemed to be everyone we knew in the scene in attendance. Moniker ’10: Labrona @ Campbarbossa

After our interview with him earlier this year, Labrona has continued putting up street works like the piece seen above. For this year’s Moniker Art Fair though, the Canadian artist will be exhibiting some of his paintings at the Campbarbossa booth featuring his familiar imagery arranged in his typical stain glass like geometrical motifs. We’re in London excited for the upcoming Moniker Art Fair on October 14th-17th (coinciding with Frieze Art Fair). It looks to be a rad event with many of the galleries that you’ve come to love on AM exhibiting like New Image Art, Carmichael Gallery, Black Rat Projects, CampBarbossa, Galleria Patricia Armocida and Anonymous Gallery.
