Releases: KAWS – “BFF” Plush (Pink)

Even casual fans of KAWS knew a pink version of the BFF plush was coming at some point judging from its prominence int the Dior campaigns. Well, that time is almost upon us with the release set for tomorrow (4/10/19) at noon (EST) on the Brooklyn-based artist’s website – KAWSONE. Those who miss out can try their luck with the DDT store. KAWS Releasing Remaining Stock Of “BFF” Plush (Black Version)

For those who missed the original blue colorway of KAWS’ BFF plush (covered) in Thailand, there was another chance with the recent slate of black versions that were released in conjunction with his exhibition in Texas (covered). Today at Noon (Pacific Time), Camille Rose Garcia (interviewed) will be releasing another hand-crafted plush on her webstore. The “Creamsicle” edition of her Winchester Hoot owl doll will be available in a classic, jumbo, and wee size and cost $25 – $80. Each ships with a mini info-booklet with story insert. Releases: Brandi Milne – Humpty Dumpty Plushes

Brandi Milne recently put up these hand-crafter and hand-painted Humpty Dumpty plushes up for sale on her website.  She states that she was inspired by “the character Humpty Dumpty and Alice In Wonderland’s Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum” when creating these.  She is currently hard at work on her next solo show scheduled for June 2010.
