One of the shows we are looking forward to at the end of 2008 is Amy Sol’s “smoke & water” at Mondo Bizzarro Gallery.  Some new images have surfaced besides one that we previously posted; one of which is seen on the show card above.  The use of the tsunami theme is quite interesting as Amy rarely paints any of her characters in distress.  Perhaps the girl and the swan-like character with the basket are there as rescuers…

Also, something you should be aware of is Amy’s upcoming “Flying Fish” print release (seen below) on October 25th.  We are glad this image will be made into a print as it was one of our favorite paintings from her show at Thinkspace. Details of the print release as well as more all the images we have gathered so far for her upcoming Mondo Bizzarro show after the jump.
