Travis Louie’s first solo in New York was as good as the Adams Family was strange and boy was it strange… err good… umm… well both actually. Uniquely hidden away at the back of a hip East Village bar, the FUSE Gallery premiered Strange Neighbors (previewed/interviewed) to a crowded and energetic group. AM was on hand as Travis presented a bountiful 15 piece show (which is more than his usual for any show). Each painting was beautifully executed and well crafted. Each character was accompanied with a curious and amusing storyline. Also out to enjoy the show were some other fans/artists: Esao Andrews, David Stoupakis, Eric Fortune and Mark Elliott to name a few.
