Inspired by the resident ghost of the notorious Victorian bookseller F.J. Williams, Black Rat Projects (formerly the Black Rat Press) are celebrating the festive season with the installation and launch of Black Dog Books on 2nd December. This pop-up emporium will be located within the gallery and promises the finest in new and old books including hand made fanzines, films and artwork by Swoon (interviewed), Burning Candy, Giles Walker, Brian Adam Douglas aka Elbow-Toe (interviewed), Lucas Price aka Cyclops (interviewed) and others. Designed by members of the Mutoid Waste Company, this could be just the place to pick up some stocking fillers and BRP sent over some of the inspirations behind this latest project for all to enjoy…..
