The “Who Killed The Music” benefit art show kicked off yesterday with a night of good art, music, and familiar faces all around. Co-curated by will.i.am (seen above with Travis Louie), Kris Lewis, and David B. Smith, the second in the series of Grammys-inspired shows featured art from 15 artists including Camille Rose Garcia, Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed), Travis Louie (interviewed), Van Arno, Lola, Mercedes Helnwein, Kris Lewis (interviewed), Paul Chatem, Nathan Spoor, Justin BUA, Jason Thielke (interviewed), Gregory Euclide, Sarah McColgan, Jeremy Lipking, and Ron Lipking.
Set high above the Grammy Museum at the LA Live Target Terrace, AM, along with some of our lucky readers, enjoyed the music themed show – from Justin BUA’s Kool Herc piece to Gregory Euclide’s three-dimensional marvel to Audrey Kawasaki’s playful “strings” piece to Paul Chatem’s offering with moving parts. Take a look photos of those artworks and more, all after the jump…
