Probably the show that AM is looking forward to most next month would be the Faile and Bast UK show at Lazarides opening February 12th. Both floors of the Greek Street location will be taken over by the Brooklyn duo and long-time collaborator Bast in what is promised to be an truly immersive installation with “80’s populist culture” as the stated source of inspiration (perhaps referenced in the title and logo for the show seen above). Also as a tease, proportedly there will be an opportunity to purchase Faile artworks for a mere £2.
Fans of the Patricks will also be happy to hear that running jointly with the Faile/Bast show will be a 10-year retrospective of Faile’s work at the Laz Rathbone gallery. We’ll have much more to follow soon…
