One the most well-known and celebrated female street artists, Miss Van, recently opened her show “She-Wolves” (previewed) at Merry Karnowsky Gallery in Los Angeles. This new body of work featured the French artist’s signature “poupes” dressed up in animal attire although she seems to have taken it a step further with some of the characters possessing some very real mammary glands, demonstrated vividly in the amazing painting seen above (to the right).
Strong images match an equally strong feminine strength that is typically evident in Miss Van’s work with this new show being no exception. More photos after the jump…
