German collaborative artists Herakut (interviewed) opened their show “Happy Doubt Day” (previewed) recently at Galerie Springmann.Varol. Along with paintings utilizing their signature mix of photorealistic and graffiti elements, the duo also introduced sculptural pieces that translated their paintings fantastically into 3D form. Also wowing the crowd was a large immersive installation.
