German/Sierra Leonean reggae singer Patrice recently released a music video featuring an iconic speaker sculpture by JR (examples here and here). Utilzing some stop motion animation, “Ain’t Got No (I Got Life)”, a cover of a song by Nina Simone, features the wheatpasted set of speakers in different configurations throughout the video. Look for more from the French street photographer later this year in London, Shanghai, and Miami but for now, enjoy this video.
