South Yorkshire artist Craww picks up his tools and treks to Newcastle for his debut solo show “Droodlings” at Electrick Sheep Gallery on October 14th. The exhibition promises a mixture of acrylic works on paper, canvas, found materials and collage, as well as a selection of limited edition prints.
Craww caught AM’s eye earlier this year with his delicate figurative works, which contain a healthy mix of dark and dreamy surrealism in their narrative. If you like your art to tell a story, with a leaning of tone more toward the Brothers Grimm than the largely sanitized world of traditional fairy tales, then you should check this exhibition out.
