As we strolled down the aisle’s of Art Basel Miami Beach, our eyes wandered towards paintings that were undeniably and unmistakeably by a certain artist. That artist is Kehinde Wiley and they were hung on the walls of Chicago’s Rhona Hoffman Gallery’s booth. The pieces are from The World Stage: India-Sri Lanka series and feature – what else – portraits of various men.
