The Details Guild is an organization that works with leading artists to broaden community interaction with art through public installations, art education and mentoring programs. They recently called upon Nate Lowman (who had a triptych shown at this year’s Basel Miami), who, with the help of some students, created a wall mural that went up on the corner of West 13th and Washington in NYC.
In addition, he made a signed print edition of 50 featuring his signature bullet hole to raise money for teen arts mentoring programs. Lowman rarely releases any prints (although another is currently available at LAND), so this is an especially fantastic buy, given the relatively low price (the triptych at Basel very quickly sold for $110,000), nice size, quality metallic paper, and iconic imagery.
