Travis Louie Collaboration with Fred Harper
Proof that the art world doesn’t completely stand still during Art Basel week, Travis Louie (featured) bravely opened his The Ghost of Delilah and Other Stories last week in Los Angeles at Gallery 1988 (Melrose). Trying something a little different, this new body of work consisted entirely of drawings by Travis and also in collaboration with other artists like Fred Harper, Lola, Craola, Chet Zar and more. As a pleasant surprise, when one thinks of drawings, usually they are small or medium sized but some of the ones in this show were massive.
