Opening alongside Brett Amory’s solo at Jonathan LeVine Gallery was also Dan Witz’s Mosh Pits, Human and Otherwise. This show featured the Brooklyn-based artist and his hyper-realistic painting style where he applies old master techniques to create incredibly vibrant and detailed works. We saw his signature large-scale oil paintings which feature Witz’s crazy and energy packed mosh pits as well as some works from his illuminated series.
