Jessica Hess with her painting, "Exhibit A" which is of a friend's studio and also happens to be her largest and most ambitious painting to date.

Last Saturday, San Francisco-based realist painter, Jessica Hess opened her first solo White Walls exhibition entitled, It Finds You. Hess typically likes to take traditional landscape painting and concentrate on areas of decay, abandonment and graffiti. In addition to her works of oil on canvas, the show also includes photographs, smaller works of gouache on paper, as well as and an installation of work done on old spray cans which are used to contrast and compliment her paintings.
