Herbert Baglione
Rounding out our coverage of this year’s Nuart Festival in Norway are two last artists – Herbert Baglione & Tellas. The Brazil-based Baglione spent most of his time working the walls (above) with some intricate tags that has not been typically for him when compared to his usual figurative style. However, when you realize that these were the names of of the 77 young people that died in the recent Norwegian terror attack, this particular room took on a more powerful and somber mood. Baglione also balanced the memoriam piece with some outdoor pieces featuring his signature “floating” characters. Hailing from Italy, Tellas stuck with the the repetitive, nature-based motif that he is known for with his street and indoors work.
