A couple weeks ago, AM stopped by Salon 94 to take in Marilyn Minter’s new body of work. The exhibition, her third at the New York gallery and two years in the making, continues to see a refinement her technique of putting a glass plate between the camera and her subject when she shoots. The centerpiece of the show is Mercury, a huge blowup of a baby splashing through silver paint which is further explored in a new video, Play Pen, shown on the first floor.
