Mars-1 opened up his show, Everything Under The Sun (previewed) to a packed house at Fecal Face Dot Gallery’s temporary space in the inner Richmond area of San Francisco Saturday night (the gallery’s usual spot is under renovation due to a fire at a neighboring building). The show included a few large scale paintings, including a tondo continuing his eye boggling Infinite Tapestry series. The centerpiece of the show was a sculpture installation filled with extra extraterrestrial creatures and landscapes that would seem to dwell within the dimension that he tries to depict in his paintings. Those who were able to stay late were treated to live music from the BLKTOP Project.
