Geoff McFetridge, who recently dazzled us with his collaborations and showing with Heath Ceramics, traveled up north a bit to the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for a solo exhibition at their University Art Gallery. The Los Angeles-based McFetridge not only displayed some new paintings with his signature minimalistic wit and associated wall murals, but also gave a well-attended lecture that spanned topics informed by his experience not only artist but also as an animator, graphic designer, and filmmaker.
