Last night in Culver City, SHAG (interviewed) unveiled a selection of his newest paintings at the Corey Helford Gallery. The works featured his signature mid-century modern aesthetic with a vividly colored palette and ranged from small to large sized. With a drink in hand and his own animal costume, the Southern California – based artist looked ready to get his party on like many of his characters in this new body of work entitled Animal Kingdom.
