Last Saturday evening, Guerrero Gallery in San Francisco hosted the opening of Cleon Peterson’s latest solo exhibition entitled The Brinksman. The paintings in the show bring you into a world put on the brink through corruption and violence by figures that are motivated by their own selfish needs. His color palette and use of dominating dark shadows show a window of what it feels like to let immorality rot away our society.
