As we mentioned earlier, The Invisible Dog Art Center in Brooklyn will play host to an exhibition entitled Holy River by Prune Nourry which is the culmination of a three year project on gender selection in India. As part of the show, The New York-based multidisciplinary artist, who draws much of her inspiration from bioethics, used the element of water for the focal point in this hypnotic video. She also utilizes a remixed version of the Holi festival (aka Festival of Colors), a Hindu holiday where men run the streets throwing pigments spraying water in a celebration of life, replacing them with young girls.
