ABOVE (interviewed) recently opened his solo show at the Metro Gallery entitled JET SET, appropriately named as evidenced by the Bay Area-based street artist’s globetrotting ways. The new body of work featured his signature arrows, refreshed with travel books and what look to be tourist photos. Also rounding out the exhibition was a London telephone booth installation, airline stewardesses dressed in retro 1950s “pan am” attire handing out boarding passes to showgoers, and two professional Argentinian tango dancers. For those interested in checking it out in person, the show will be up until July 14th.
