We first got acquainted with Ben Eine in the 2005 holiday tradition known as Santa’s Ghetto. Since then Ben has traveled the globe putting his clever alphabetical color combinations up for the whole world to see (fans include Prime Minister Cameron who sent over a painting to the Obama’s, welcoming the first family into the White House).

Most recently Ben has been working like an elf during Christmas gearing up for the group show he’s participating in at the Charles Banks Gallery. He has been linked up with an eclectic batch of artists that all seem to have a way with color, including Lee Baker, Katrin Fridriks, and Michael Bevilacqua. We stopped by to pay him a visit and we hope you will too. Opening reception is this Tuesday night at 7pm here in New York City.
