Tomorrow (January 23rd) at noon, Paper Monster will be releasing a series of new editioned variants with Swoon. Entitled Thalassa, the iconic image from the New Orleans Museum of Art is transformed into an original piece of artwork. Each one is unique in that the NY-based artist worked on each one with her signature block prints and fine paper cut-outs/collaging. Also in keeping with her tradition of working with found, re-purposed and salvaged materials each piece in mounted in on a one of a kind medium (like her Ben release). During our visit to Paper Monster, we saw pieces mounted on a refrigerator door, bookshelf and drawers just to name a few. Check out the details below.
