British muralist and illustrator, Phlegm, recently spent a couple days in the Polish capital, Warsaw, working on a new mural for the Street Art Doping festival. Once again, he got assigned an interesting wall by the organizers, with several different sized windows and parts of the plaster missing. Instead of covering these up, the Sheffield-based artist fully used the surface with all its given elements and created this mural based on the map of the world. Painting in close to 40 °C heat, Phlegm created an image of a gigantic castle emerging from a falling apart planet – perhaps with some social commentary. The session spontaneously turned into a small neighborhood gathering with locals hanging out, talking to the artist, and watching their living space getting a facade lift.
