On October 4th, the Evoke Contemporary in New Mexico will be presenting a new solo exhibition from Kent Williams. Making his return to the showspace (see 2010), the Los Angeles-based painter has put forth work collectively entitled OPHTHALM: new drawings + paintings. The title of of the show brings to mind a similarly named book he recently released that is still available as well. You’ll have to wait a month to see the rest of what Williams has to offer, but the first image we have seen certainly piqued our interest.
