AM recently attended the opening of Tara McPherson’s newest show at Jonathan LeVine, her third solo with the Chelsea gallery. Inspired by the unexplored realms of deep space and deep sea, Wandering Luminations features the Brooklyn-based artist’s surreal portraiture of females and creatures all rendered in her signature palette of pinks and teals. The body of work includes paintings on linen, wood and paper as well as her largest piece to date so stop by if you can to see for yourself before the close date of November 16.
