One of the artists featured in our Art Focus articles last year will be opening a solo show soon at the Joshua Liner Gallery in New York. Riusuke Fukahori unique work is creating through a process of painting and within layers of resin leading to a three dimensional marvel that looks very real. The Painted Breath will featuring his signature renderings of  goldfish, a metaphor for his life. “At his lowest point – ready to give up and get a “real job” – he saw his neglected goldfish in their dirty tank and recognized something. Something inside him was hooked and he was the one caught by the fish.” Take a look at a process video here, at the preview images here, and head over to the Chelsea showspace on November 21st to see these pieces in person.
