We stopped by Kelsey Brookes‘ first solo exhibition recently in New York at Judith Charles Gallery. Entitled Better Living Through Chemistry, this show features a large body of work focusing in on his abstract paintings and musings via eye catching molecular structures. This style is also based on his scientific background and delves further into drugs and its effect on the human consciousness. The paintings, large and small in scale, filled the two floor gallery space and is pretty psychedelic to experience in person. This show runs through January, so if you’re in NYC, plan to stop by.
