After a showing in the UK and a refreshing vacation in Hawaii, Kelsey Brookes (featured) has returned to Cali to work on a fresh set of paintings. The new body of work is currently on display at Compound Project in Malibu and is entitled Meditations on Symmetry. Although the pieces still maintain the vibrancy and love for patterns seen in previously, Brookes seems to be exploring a more abstract side of his oeuvre.
