Tonight (February 6th), the Breeze Block Gallery in Portland will be presenting new work from Canadian artist Tristram Lansdowne (interviewed), along with Erin Murray in a two-person show. Entitled Order Of Operations, the exhibition will highlight Lansdowne’s architectural forms that appear to be in harmony with the natural landscapes they are found in as well as Murray’s buildings and structures rendered on shaped panels.
The second gallery space will host exquisite graphite works (seen above) from the London-based Greg Eason, who we featured in 2011 in one of our Art Focus articles. Entitled Four Fish of the Apocalypse, the new pieces use religious and apocalyptic imagery to deconstruct his version of The Book of Revelation (Chapter 6 of the King James Bible).
