One of the satellite fairs we visited first during New York’s Armory Week is Volta. This unique event does not showcase a sampling of a diverse roster of artists like most booths, but instead the invited gallerists select one artist to focus on. This results in a memorable way to keep the viewer’s attention as they run through the aisles focusing on one gallery and discovering a single artist at a time.
