On October 2nd, the Hellion Gallery in Portland will be presenting new works from Yoskay Yamamoto (interviewed) tentatively entitled rainy day with a chance of sun. Like his recent showing in Los Angeles (covered), the new whimsical body of work will consist of paintings, clusters of smaller works, and his hand-crafted wooden sculptures. Also included in his manga-esque imagery will be a series of “uninvited collaborations.”
