Starting on October 30th, Yves Laroche in Montreal will be hosting a massive group exhibition entitled Égrégore. The term refers to a kind of group mind which is created when people consciously come together for a common purpose and was used in relation to the Montreal Surrealists, best known as Les Automatistes in the 40s. The resurrection of the idea in relation to geography and purpose is definitely appropriate to this show which will run through December 20th.
