Coming up in February, the New York City Ballet will be collaborating with their third artist – Dustin Yellin (also see Faile & JR) – in series of special shows. Bringing sculpture into the arena of dance, the performances will feature the Brooklyn-based artist’s signature “window sandwiches” featuring the human form created out of collaged elements. The new pieces, which are extensions of his ongoing Psychogeographies series, will have his subjects put into motion, a nod toward the dancers and their craft.
