After a successful showing with Jonathan LeVine in 2011 and 2013, Haroshi (featured) will be opening his third show with the gallery on February 19th. Entitled Still Pushing Despite The Odds, the new work consists of the Japanese artist’s signature wooden sculptures made with the novel use of recycled skateboards as a medium. Perhaps referencing the time-consuming nature of his unique technique, Haroshi also states – “throughout their lifespan together the skater and his board get battered, but even so they get up again to face the obstacles in their path.”
