This Saturday night (February 28th), Thinkspace Gallery in Culver City will be hosting new work from Sarah Joncas (seen above) and Camilla d’Errico (seen below). Both artists create portraiture centered on female characters but their imagery tends to be quite different, which will give the joint show a nice contrasting look. Joncas’ paintings have a cinematic feel to them with with a sense of danger or unknown while d’Errico’s pieces are more surreal featuring her characters with saccharine charm interacting with their creature friends.
