On March 28th, Narwhal Contemporary in Toronto will be hosting a new solo show from Souther Salazar entitled Attic Transmissions. The Portland-based artist’s work has always brought a smile to the face of fans of his whimsical work – with this new collection of paintings being no different. Salazar’s imagery has a “greater than sum of its parts” feel to it with a delightful complex and layered composition, but this fresh batch of work seems to have taken it to a new level with some collaged elements.
