On April 25th, Aryz will be opening a pop up show in Los Angeles (1340 E. 6th St.) from 8-10 pm entitled PARAL•LEL. The exhibition from the Barcelona-based muralist will feature the most extensive collection of indoor works to date. Divided into two rooms, the work in one will be a traditionally hung set of paintings while the other space promises to consist of a “high-energy onslaught of expressive works.” This separation plays on the title of the show, and refers to the non-intersecting parts and contradictions of the Spanish artist’s career in the public sector and in the gallery.
