Coming up on May 21st, Joram Roukes will be opening a solo at StolenSpace in London witha new body of work entitled The Great Beyond. The fresh series of surreal oil paintings explores ideas of exploration and escapism, perhaps inspired by the move by the Dutch artist from the Netherlands to Los Angeles in 2013. His style is almost collage-like with complex layers and juxtaposed composition, drawing viewers in with their own interpretations.
