With the opening reception set for this Thursday night (September 10th), SLIP at Winston Wachter Fine Art will introduce new works from Zaria Forman to her fans in New York. Known for her photorealistic pastel drawings inspired by the problem of climate change as well as childhood experiences, the Brooklyn-based artist has traveled the world photographing, then rendering what she has seen on the front lines. Included in the exhibition will be pieces that range from the melting icebergs in Greenland to the rising sea levels that threaten the Maldives as well as her largest piece to date.
