Tonight in New York, Aurel Schmidt will be opening a new solo show at Half Gallery from 6-8pm. Blast Furnace of Civilization is the latest installment for the American artist’s ongoing series of works exploring the madness of capitalism. Along with her trusty colored pencil drawings, Schmidt will also be unveiling her first ever painted ceramics in this exhibition.
